Three years after its release, the OnePlus 7 Series finally receives an OxygenOS Android 12 update.
Users of the OnePlus 7 and 7T series may now download OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12, two months after Google unveiled the all-new Android 13.
However, these Android phones, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, as well as the 7T and 7T Pro, are already three years old.
According to a recent Notebook Check article, the huge Chinese phone company, OnePlus, introduced its 7 and 7T lines in key smartphone countries, including the United States, in 2019.
According to the news source, the 7 and 7T series made a significant impact on the overall smartphone industry.
These OnePlus phones are among the latest to include pop-up selfie cameras, which do away with the punch-hole design, making the display more seamless.
These three-year-old phones, on the other hand, have been trapped with Android 11 for quite some time.
Notebook Check reports that 7 and 7T customers have been running the outdated mobile OS for around a year and a half.
This time, however, OnePlus has finally released a fresh upgrade to its 2019 flagship devices, bringing OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 to the 7 and 7T lines.
