Telegram founder cautions users to avoid WhatsApp once more.

Founder Pavel Durov said that the firm has been monitoring users' data for the past 13 years.

This time, he referred to the chat platform as a "surveillance instrument."

The Telegram creator has warned people to avoid the Meta-owned WhatsApp.

He cited a security flaw revealed by WhatsApp last month, claiming that the messaging app had been putting user data at danger.

He recommended users to use an other instant messaging software rather than WhatsApp.

"Hackers might have complete access to anything on WhatsApp users' phones," urov warned in a Telegram message.

He also stated that WhatsApp has been monitoring users' data for the past 13 years.
